Raised Flooring System and Boarding.

  • At T&G Lofts we fit a Hyrid LoftLeg & Timber, raised flooring system. This system consists of LoftLegs safely and securely fixed to the joist level and s timber supporting track laid perpendicularly to your properties existing joists and fixed at every point of contact. This adds strength to the existing structure while also creating a void to allow for insulation and the ventilation gap to comply with building regulations and NHBC Standards, a great fit and addition to any home.

  • Pricing is dependent on the total area, structure type and requirements of each client. Prices start from as little as £499.00 inc VAT.

Loft Ladders and Access Hatches.

  • We supply and install both uPVC Hatches with Aluminium Ladders and FAKRO Timber Loft Ladders. Both are modern, safe and stable access to your loft space. Regardless of ceiling type, we are able to install numberous options to provide access into your loft. The choice is completely dependant on which you feel is the best access option for you and your home.

  • Pricing is dependant on the type of ladder required, current opening location in the property and also ceiling height. Prices range from £350 to £800 inc VAT depending on the above requirements.

Truss Shelving.

  • Truss shelving is the perfect method to maximise the storage space in your loft while keeping costs down. Lengths of timber are fixed level across the compression and tensions webs of a truss construction roof down the length of your loft. This creates an ideal height shelf perfect for storing boxes/suitcases and making use of what would other wise be an unusable space. Increasing your storage area by up to 80% at roughly a quarter of the cost.

  • Pricing is dependant on the overall length of the shelving required and also the depth of the shelving.

    Please note, Purlin Loft spaces are not applicable for Truss Shelving options.

Thermawrap / Superquilt.

  • Thermal wrapping is a low density 3.7mm thick insulated material which is the equivalent of 55mm king span at a fraction of the price. The materials is stapled to the rafters and joints of the sheet material are finished with reflective tape to create a completely insulated unit having a drastic effect on your properties U-value.

  • Pricing is dependant on the total area of the roof / rafter faces that require the Thermawrap.

Insulation.

  • With 25 - 32% of your homes energy and heat being lost via the roof space, having an effective amount of insulation installed is key for retaining heat and also keeping the property cooler in the summer months. Regardless of depth, we can provide a solution that will both increase your homes 'R' Value and save money on the ever rising energy prices in the UK.

  • Pricing is dependant on the non-boarded area and the insulation depth required.

Stud walls / Rafter Cladding.

  • We don’t currently offer habitable spaces. However, we can appreciate that some clients want their transformed loft space to feel like a room. Because of this we offer under purlin stud walling with cladding to the wall face and rafters to create a homely room feel in your loft space. These spaces are also finished to a pre-paint finish with primed skirting, meaning your new loft space only needs a small amount of decoration to flow through with the feel of the rest of the house.
